School Book Drive
New Logo and School Book Drive for Eve’s Fund
Larissa Kulczycky, (Eve’s cousin) has spearheaded a children’s book drive through her daughter Olivia’s second grade class at Fox Mill Elementary School in Herndon Virginia. Ms. Brittingham’s class held their Book Drive during the week of week of March 23-27, 2009. They collected and shipped 60 books and $50 in Amazon gift certificates for Jenny Atcitty’s 2nd grade class at Montezuma Creek Elementary School. Letters from each student were also sent. The gift certificates allowed the teacher to select her own books/magazine subscriptions for the class library. Ms. Kulczycky, President of LCB Communications also took the initiative to develop a new logo for Eve’s Fund reflecting our organization’s new directions and commitment to the Native American community. She worked closely with graphic artist Jenny Sofologis, of Kohl Designs. Both women donated their time and services to the project. Please contact us if you have children whose classrooms might want to “share” their books with Navajo children. barbaracrowelloy@evecrowellsfund.org
