On February 24, 2005, our wonderful, loving daughter died in West Hollywood of an accidental drug and alcohol overdose. Our hearts were broken and our lives forever changed. Slowly, we turned our grief and tears into action with the creation of Eve’s Fund for Native American Health Initiatives. We have worked hard to keep Eve’s memory alive in our literacy, injury prevention, and education programs for young Native Americans, primarily living on or near the Navajo Nation.
