Eve's Fund received a Special Recognition Award at Navajo Prep's annual awards banquet in May for its scholarship program. Honoring a Navajo Code Talker with a massage
by Barbara Crowell Roy, Eve's Fund president At this year's Shiprock Marathon in early May, I was honored to meet Navajo Code Talker, John Kinsel, Sr.—and, to give him a massage! The whole event happened quite serendipitously and is one I will cherish forever. Mr. Kinsel served in the 3rd Division of the US Marine Corps during World War II from 1942-1945.
