Thanks to receiving our third Quality of Life Grant from the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation this year, we been able to continue to expand our injury prevention education program across the Navajo Reservation where preventable injuries and deaths are three times higher than the national average. Eve’s Fund awarded $10,000 grant for ThinkFirst Navajo Program
We are pleased to share the wonderful news that Eve's Fund has received another Quality of Life Grant from the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, a leading organization dedicated to curing spinal cord injury and improving care for people living with paralysis. Keeping Eve’s Memory Alive 9 Years later
On February 24, 2005, our wonderful, loving daughter died in West Hollywood of an accidental drug and alcohol overdose. Our hearts were broken and our lives forever changed. Slowly, we turned our grief and tears into action with the creation of Eve's Fund for Native American Health Initiatives. We have worked hard to keep Eve's memory alive in our literacy, injury prevention, and education programs for young Native Americans, primarily living on or near the Navajo Nation.
