Eve’s Fund for Native American Health Initiatives has awarded $10,500 in scholarships for 11 Navajo students attending Navajo Preparatory School in Farmington through the end of the current academic year. Eve’s Fund elects new board of directors at its annual meeting
At a recent annual meeting, Eve's Fund elected seven people to its board of directors for 2017. We also accepted resignations from three members. Officers elected included: Barbara Crowell Roy, president;Derrick Watchman, treasurer; and Ksenija Topic, secretary, along with members Wyatt E. Mary Woodson Crowell, Eve’s Fund champion has died
We are saddened to tell you that, Mary Woodson Crowell (1940-2016), second wife of Eve's Fund founder, Dr. Robert M. Crowell,, died on July 27, 2016 at the Mount Carmel Center in Lenox, Massachusetts. Mary suffered from unrelenting pain for years. An overwhelming and final infection ended her life. As she requested, internment was private.
