Eve’s Fund is proud to announce that we have joined the “Circle of Partners” for a documentary film project called: “What’s in the Heart.” This positive upcoming film examines the medical crisis among Native people but also reveals amazing Indian people who have created remarkable health programs utilizing both modern and traditional treatments to heal their communities.
The great Oglala Lakota shaman and healer, Black Elk, who was a survivor of the Wounded Knee Massacre of 1890 said that “although the Sacred Hoop was broken that day, it would be mended in seven generations.” “What’s in the Heart” looks at today’s Native children, who are the seventh generation and the many ways in which they are part of the healing time which Black Elk predicted. We continue to deeply appreciate all of the support from our fans, friends and partners. We are all in this “circle” together.
