Eve’s Fund embraced a message of hope once again this year as it co-sponsored a three-day suicide prevention youth retreat during the late summer. The retreat, called Native H.O.P.E. Shiprock marathon donors help ThinkFirst Navajo spread injury prevention message
Many thanks to the generous donors who supported our ThinkFirst Navajo runners at the 2017 Shiprock Half Marathon in May. We raised more than $2,000, which allowed us to teach more than 250 Navajo children how to stay safe and avoid traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries over the summer. September is National Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month
The U.S. Senate has designated September as National Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month. Every 48 minutes someone in the U.S. is paralyzed from a spinal cord injury. ThinkFirst Navajo team to run in 2017 Shiprock half-marathon
Runners from our ThinkFirst Navajo Injury Prevention program will join more than 2,000 participants in 34th Shiprock (New Mexico) Marathon on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Our team will promote injury prevention awareness and education as we run, jog and walk the 13.1 miles of the half-marathon.
