Forty five years ago today on November 4, 1974, Eve Erin Crowell—our beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend and colleague— was born in Boston, Massachusetts.
It was a beautiful warm autumn day with the leaves at their stunning peak. Eve grew into a beautiful and intelligent woman. She adored her family and friends.
Eve’s Fund is Eve’s Legacy
Today, we remember her and her legacy that lives on through Eve’s Fund for Native American Health Initiatives—a non-profit organization that her family created in her memory.
Every year, on this day, we celebrate Eve’s birth and life. With the work being done in her name through Eve’s Fund, we celebrate the thousands of Native American children who have been served by our literacy, injury prevention and educational initiatives.
