About Eve’s Fund
When Dr. Bob Crowell’s daughter Eve Erin Crowell died suddenly in 2005, his life changed forever. Though Bob’s heart was crushed, he and Eve’s mom, his former wife, Barbara Crowell Roy, turned their grief into action to honor their daughter’s memory by creating Eve’s Fund for Native American Health Initiatives. Eve had a special place in her heart for Native Americans and her parents wanted to pay tribute to that part of her spirit. Now, fifteen years later, Eve’s Fund remains a highly respected, non-profit organization serving Native American youth, primarily on the Navajo Nation. Its literacy, injury prevention and educational programs, including ThinkFirst Navajo, have made a positive impact on the lives of over 60,000 Navajo children and teens and have received numerous national and statewide grants and awards for its commitment to promoting hope and wellness among Native youth.
While Bob will be terribly missed, the work of Eve’s Fund will continue. Thanks to all of our donors for your support. Your generosity is inspiring at this difficult time. If you would like to make a donation in Bob’s memory, please click on the heart below.
Bob Crowell committed his retirement years to creating programs for young people
living on the Navajo Nation and he was always happy when he could be there serving others.
