We are so grateful for all of the generous donations made to Eve’s Fund for Native American Health Initiatives last Tuesday on this Global Day of Giving. On a national level, the GivingTuesday organization reports that individuals contributed $2.7 billion to U.S. nonprofits and community organizations in 24 hours on #GivingTuesday 2021- a +9% increase from 2020.
Thirty-five million adults in the U.S. participated in some ways on GivingTuesday 2021 along with many more millions around the world. In addition to the increase in financial gifts, volunteering and gifts of goods (clothes, food, etc.) on that day also increased significantly versus 2020. You can read more here about how generosity lit up the world.

Giving Tuesday, November 30, was an inspiring kick-off to Eve’s Fund’s 2021 Holiday Fundraising Appeal, —”Supporting Native Teen Suicide Prevention“— and we are well on our way to the goal of raising $10,000 by December 31. Donations on Giving Tuesday, and for the balance of the year, will raise much needed funds to bring HOPE to Native American teens and prevent suicide among these vulnerable youth.
As you may have read in our last newsletter or on our social media pages, Native American youth have the highest rate of suicide among all age and ethnic groups in the United States. Giving Tuesday donations and additional gifts between now and December 31 will help us fund youth suicide prevention workshops in Indian Country. The workshops will be provided through our community partner, Native Pride, and its Native H.O.P E. program, presented by Clayton Small, PhD. Friends of Eve’s Fund can continue to support this critically important need through December 31.
Please consider a gift to Eve’s Fund
If you have not yet had the opportunity this year, please consider a tax-deductible gift to Eve’s Fund, in any amount, to help us towards the goal of raising $10,000 to fund suicide prevention workshops for vulnerable Native teens. Donors may direct their gifts to this program or to another Eve’s Fund program, if you prefer.
If you are in the position to do so, please help us address this critical need and help save the lives of Native teens!
