Dear Friends,
As Eve’s Fund for Native American Health Initiatives begins to wind down 2022, we are filled with GRATITUDE and HOPE at Thanksgiving. Just as the Navajo and so many other Indigenous people have been sustained over many, many years, we realize more than ever and appreciate how many individuals and organizations have made it possible for us to sustain the work Eve’s dad and I began in 2005, in memory of our daughter, Eve Erin Crowell, who died that year, shortly after her 30th birthday.
We are thankful to all our friends and family who have found ongoing ways to support us emotionally, spiritually and financially. We appreciate all the Facebook friends who help us spread our mission and sponsor fundraisers on their birthdays. We are grateful for our dedicated program partners, team members and volunteers, and for grants from generous foundations and corporate sponsors. All of these “sustainers” have enabled us to reach more Navajo children through our programs over the last year.
As we look ahead, reflecting on the past year, we feel more hopeful than ever before. Our hero, Christopher Reeve, once said: “Once you choose hope, anything’s possible.” After what have been a tough few years for all, and especially for the population of children and families supported by our programs, we believe that if everyone can spread a bit more kindness, caring, compassion, and good will toward others, the future will be brighter for all.
In the days ahead, we hope you enjoy treasured traditions and special celebrations with friends and family.
With loving thanks and gratitude and hope at Thanksgiving,
Barbara Crowell Roy

Save the Date for Giving Tuesday
Established in 2012, #GivingTuesday is global day of generosity, a day that people all over the globe are encouraged to give back and do good. On Tuesday, November 29, 2022 please consider making a financial gift in any amount to Eve’s Fund or to another nonprofit with a mission that’s close to your heart. We are also encouraging everyone to make random acts of kindness on that day to loved ones or even strangers. Isn’t that really what this season of gratitude is all about?
“Everyone has something to give, and every act of generosity counts!”

We are so grateful to all the generous donors who have already gifts to Eve’s Fund this year or have done so in the past. These kind and generous friends have opened their hands and hearts in support of our work with Native American youth. We are thankful to them for helping us make a difference in the lives of the many young people we’ve served over the last seventeen years.
If you would like to help us sustain and grow Eve’s Fund, please consider making a 2022 tax-deductible donation. You don’t have to wait until #GivingTuesday or until December 31 to “unleash your generosity.” Please click the below “Donate” button to make a gift in any amount through our secure Donation portal, or you can send a check to us at:
