Dear Friends of Eve’s Fund,
Happy summer to you! It’s already halfway through 2023, and after all we have experienced over the past three years, we hope you are feeling positive about a new season of life and the universe.
Today, Eve’s Fund is celebrating the Summer Solstice with a deep appreciation for all of the friends who have supported us in the past, and a powerful feeling of unity with all of our partners and the young people our programs serve.
Indigenous peoples have long observed the summer solstice, and many continue annual commemorations, including rituals, fairs and celebrations. The longest day of the year remains a time to strengthen cultures and unify communities. Likewise, it “symbolizes a new season of life, a chance to start fresh and leave past burdens behind.”
Despite the many challenges we’ve experienced over the past several years, Eve’s Fund has persevered to continue making a positive impact through the continuation of our injury prevention, literacy, scholarship, and other educational programs.
Today, we would like you to learn more about some of our recent activities and successes. You can read our online newsletters here: Eve’s Fund online newsletters . We encourage you to contact us to explore ways in which you can help us carry out our mission of promoting NATIVE HOPE and WELLNESS with Native American youth.
I am wishing you all a bright and spirited Summer Solstice and hope you will enjoy the rhythm of the season that lies ahead. Stay Safe and please feel free to connect with us.
All the best from Eve’s mom,
Barbara Crowell Roy
