Eve’s Fund supports summer camp for kids with physical disabilities
In June, Eve’s Fund for Native American Health Initiatives proudly renewed its sponsorship of Camp Adventure, a specialized summer day camp for children with special needs, in partnership with the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation (CTHF) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Supporting the Heartbeat Music Project on the Navajo Nation
Again this year Eve's Fund supported the Heartbeat Music Project with a generous gift in memory of Eve's dad, co-founder of Eve's Fund, Robert M. Crowell, MD. The Heartbeat Music Project (HMP) provides tuition-free music and Navajo cultural education to Diné students in grades K-12 on the campus of Navajo Technical University in Crownpoint, New Mexico. Eve's Fund has sponsored college scholarships for three St. Michael Indian School graduates, awarded at its high school commencement on Saturday, June 1, on its St. Michaels, Arizona campus.
