Shiprock Marathon—running, volunteering & massaging a hero
At the 2019 Shiprock Marathon, we ran, volunteered, and gave a massage to a hero—Navajo Code Talker, John Kinsel, Sr. Again this year, Eve’s Fund Team members actively participated in the 36th Shiprock Marathon weekend May 3-4, 2019. ThinkFirst Navajo donates bike helmets to the Diné Bike Project
Last week, Jodee Dennison, MPH, director of ThinkFirst Navajo—Eve’s Fund’s Injury Prevention Program— delivered 50 more new bike helmets, in 3 different sizes, to Tom Riggenbach, executive director of NavajoYes in Window Rock, AZ—capital of the Navajo Nation. ThinkFirst Navajo team to run in 2017 Shiprock half-marathon
Runners from our ThinkFirst Navajo Injury Prevention program will join more than 2,000 participants in 34th Shiprock (New Mexico) Marathon on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Our team will promote injury prevention awareness and education as we run, jog and walk the 13.1 miles of the half-marathon.
